We are pleased to announce that The Starpin
Gallery will be open to the public with official gallery hours this fall, 2005.
Before this grand opening, we would like to invite you to our special Prevue June 10th,
11th, and 12th at the Starpin Gallery's new Shelton location. The gallery will feature
local, national, and international artists and will exhibit a diverse collection of
painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media.
This celebration begins with an opening reception of contemporary art on Friday June 10th
from 6-9pm and will continue through the weekend with live music and guest performances.
We welcome you to meet professional artists and enjoy the creativity of a thriving artist
community in one of the oldest 'working' factories in the state of Connecticut.
The Starpin Gallery is located in the Star Pin Building on the Housatonic River in
Shelton, CT at 273 Canal Street. Since
1999, the gallery has provided a setting for artistic talent as well as a community
environment for both the artists and the
public to share. The gallery will always hold special recognition to its founding artists;
to the purpose of art, and to the
building owners, whose continued support of the arts and this gallery remain appreciated.
Join us at this new venue for creativity and artistic expression June 10th, 11th and 12th
as we provide a sneak peak at
the new gallery space and an opportunity to meet artists in and outside the state of
Connecticut.
